SUN4 INC d/b/a Sunprise (“Sunprise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit https://sunprise.com, submit forms, communicate with us, or receive our services in Florida, Texas, and other locations we serve.
This Policy is designed to comply with applicable U.S. federal privacy requirements and state laws that may apply to our operations, including the Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA), the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (FDBR) where applicable, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) where applicable, and telemarketing and email marketing rules.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to personal information we process through our website, lead forms, phone calls, text messages, email, in-person consultations, contracts, customer portals, and related business systems. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, employer HR systems unrelated to customer service, or information processed solely on behalf of a business customer under a separate written agreement.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The Site and our services are directed to adults. If you believe a child under 13 provided information to us, contact privacy@sunprise.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

- Responding to inquiries and providing estimates, consultations, and contracted services;
- Scheduling appointments, inspections, and installations;
- Processing payments and administering contracts, warranties, and change orders;
- Pulling permits and coordinating with utilities, HOAs, manufacturers, and inspectors;
- Customer service, quality assurance, training, and internal reporting;
- Marketing Sunprise services by email, phone, or SMS where permitted by law and your consent;
- Securing our Site, preventing fraud, and enforcing our terms;
- Complying with legal, tax, insurance, and licensing obligations;
- Improving our website, advertising effectiveness, and customer experience through analytics.
4. Legal bases and consent
We process information as necessary to perform a contract or take steps at your request before entering a contract, to comply with law, to protect vital interests, and for our legitimate business interests where those interests are not overridden by your rights. Where required—such as for certain telemarketing calls, autodialed or prerecorded calls, promotional text messages, or processing of sensitive data—we obtain your consent or provide required opt-in mechanisms. You may withdraw marketing consent as described in Section 10.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information with:
- Service providers such as website hosts, CRM systems, email/SMS platforms, analytics vendors, payment processors, cloud storage, and scheduling tools under contractual confidentiality and security obligations;
- Trade partners such as subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and manufacturers when needed to perform your project;
- Financing partners if you request financing and authorize sharing;
- Professional advisors such as attorneys, accountants, and insurers under confidentiality duties;
- Government authorities for permits, inspections, tax reporting, or lawful requests;
- Commercial transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale subject to continued protection;
- With your direction when you ask us to share information or publish reviews/testimonials.
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you.

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure traffic, and deliver relevant advertising. 7. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including providing services, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal retention requirements. Lead records, contracts, and warranty files may be retained for multiple years as required by construction, tax, and litigation statutes in Florida, Texas, and other applicable states.
8. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encrypted transport where supported, and vendor review. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use strong passwords and protect your devices.
9. Data breach notification
If we determine that a security breach has compromised personal information and notification is required under Florida’s Information Protection Act, Texas breach-notification law, or other applicable statutes, we will provide notice to affected individuals and regulators as required, including content and timing mandated by law.
10. Your marketing choices
You may opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in our messages or by emailing privacy@sunprise.com. You may opt out of promotional texts by replying STOP to a message we send, where supported. You may request to be placed on our internal do-not-contact list for marketing calls.
Opting out of marketing does not affect service-related communications necessary to respond to your request, perform a contract, or provide warranty support.
11. Rights of Florida residents
Depending on our role and applicable law, Florida residents may have rights including:
- Access and confirmation regarding whether we process your personal information;
- Correction of inaccurate personal information;
- Deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions;
- Data portability of personal information you provided in a usable format where required;
- Opt-out of the sale of personal information or certain targeted advertising or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, where applicable;
- Non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights, as provided by law.
Under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, additional rights may apply to certain large controllers. Sunprise evaluates applicability of FDBR based on its operations. Regardless of threshold, we honor verified consumer requests to the extent required by law.
To submit a request, email privacy@sunprise.com or write to our Florida office. We will verify your identity using reasonable methods before responding. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authorization where permitted. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with “Appeal” in the subject line.
12. Rights of Texas residents
Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and related Texas law, Texas residents may have rights to:
- Confirm whether we process their personal data;
- Access personal data we maintain about them;
- Correct inaccurate personal data;
- Request deletion of personal data provided by or obtained about them, subject to exceptions;
- Obtain a portable copy of personal data they provided in certain formats where required;
- Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, where applicable.
Sunprise does not sell personal data for monetary consideration. We do not process sensitive personal data for targeted advertising without consent where consent is required. Submit Texas privacy requests to privacy@sunprise.com. We will respond within timeframes required by TDPSA after verifying identity.
13. Rights of other U.S. residents
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights regarding access, deletion, correction, portability, and opt-out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising. Submit requests to privacy@sunprise.com and identify your state of residence. We will respond as required by applicable law.
14. Telemarketing, texts, and call recording
Sunprise complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Florida Telemarketing Act, Texas telemarketing rules, and applicable Do Not Call requirements. By providing your phone number and checking a consent box on our forms—or otherwise providing express written consent where required—you authorize Sunprise and its service providers to contact you at that number using automated or manual technology, including calls and texts, for informational and marketing purposes. Consent is not a condition of purchase where prohibited by law.
Some calls may be recorded for quality and training where permitted after appropriate notice. If you do not wish to be recorded, inform the representative at the start of the call where state law requires consent.
15. Email marketing
We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and similar laws. Marketing emails include our identity and a working unsubscribe mechanism. Transactional messages related to your project may still be sent after you unsubscribe from marketing.
16. International visitors
Sunprise operates in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that information may be processed in the U.S. and other locations where our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
17. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Effective date at the top shows when the current version took effect. Material changes will be posted on this page. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
